This is a performance-driven pistol course designed for shooters who already possess a solid foundation in safe gun handling and marksmanship. The focus is on refining the fundamentals while increasing efficiency, consistency, and speed under realistic shooting conditions.

Students will work through structured drills that emphasize recoil management, target transitions, movement, multiple-shot accountability, drawing from the holster, reloads, and decision-making while maintaining accuracy. Rather than introducing shortcuts or gimmicks, this course reinforces the fundamentals that allow shooters to perform confidently when the pace increases.

Throughout the day, students will receive individual coaching and performance feedback with an emphasis on measurable improvement using both time and accuracy standards.

  • Recoil management for faster, more accurate follow-up shots

Prerequisites
This is not a beginner course. Students should already be proficient with:

  • Safe firearm handling

  • Drawing safely from a holster

  • Loading and unloading procedures

  • Basic marksmanship and weapon manipulation

Required Equipment

  • Reliable semi-automatic pistol

  • Quality OWB or AIWB holster that covers the trigger guard

  • Minimum of 3 magazines

  • Magazine carrier/pouches

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Belt suitable for carrying equipment

  • 400–500 rounds of factory ammunition

  • Water, snacks/lunch, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing
