Shotgun Anatomy and Operation:Understanding the parts of a shotgun, action types (pump-action, semi-automatic), and basic mechanics.
Ammunition Selection: Discussing different types of shotgun ammunition (shot, slugs), their effectiveness, and appropriate choices for defensive purposes.
Shooting Fundamentals: Stance, grip, sight picture, trigger control, and recoil management.
Malfunction Drills: Recognizing and clearing common shotgun malfunctions.
Loading and Reloading Techniques: Proper techniques for loading, unloading, and reloading the shotgun.
Defensive Mindset: Developing a proactive approach to personal safety and awareness.
Legal Aspects of Self-Defense: Discussion of relevant laws, use of force considerations, and ethical dilemmas.
Practical Application of Shooting Fundamentals: Practicing stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control with live fire.
